Tea-Party Progress

Well I've been absent from this forum for a while due to working overtime with the Tea-Party getting ready for the November 2010 elections. We here at the Tea-Party have jumped (leaps and bounds) in reaching across our great country to get true conservatives elected this November. We have been tremendously successful in our efforts to support those who will protect our U.S. Constitution and identifying those in both parties who seek to destroy it for their own self interests. You would be surprised to see the amount of republicans the Tea-Party have targeted to be removed. We here at the Tea-Party have put all elected officials on notice that they are going to be held responsible for their voting history BEFORE THE NOVEMBER ELECTIONS so the American people can be educated and vote accordingly. For those who get help from the Tea-Party to get elected this November and end up not support our U.S. Constitution will be identified and blacklisted for future elections. Lastly the democrats are trying to connect the republicans and the Tea-Party as the same organization and are racist.....(won't work) the American people are aware of their demagoguery. We here at the Tea-Party have worked overtime to educate the electorate on the truth so all of us great Americans are prepared to vote for true conservatives who will support our U.S. Constitution.........det45

Lets get back to popular vote and do away with the electoral college. Its who ha!

I'm a middle of the road guy. However, I do realize we need a balance of power. The current administration has shown us what happens went either party dominates with total control.

Go Tea Party! You are thus far doing a good job! :beerchug:

:puke:

Sorry i couldn't resist. Hopefully someone can turn things around in this country. But so far from what I have seen from the Tea party, doesn't look any more promising than our current situation. We will see though.

I'm a lifelong Republican and have never voted Democrat (Independent a few times). I am a very strict fiscal conservative. With that being said, I know a lot of Tea Party folks that run in my social circles and each one of them is extremely racist. Immigration seems to be their cornerstone, and I get and support that, but they take it to such an extreme as to hate everyone of color. I am afraid that in the end they will end up pulling votes away from the Republican Party, thus guaranteeing we're going to be at the mercy of these bankrupting blue bellies.

Interesting, as noone I've met affiilated with it has ever said anything racist in my presence. And on top of it, most were put off with the latest racist 'label' being placed upon them. I don't care if you're white black green pink yellow or polka dot; all I care about is if you are conservative or not.

Some people swallow the Hook, Line, & Sinker from the mainstream media when they say the Tea-Party is Racist. The Tea-Party is not racist nor do we discriminate against anyone. As with all groups, there are a few bad apples however we here at the Tea-Party are getting very good at ousting them from our organization. The mainstream media and democrats love to use racism to demean an organization they don't like but it's not going to work. The word Racism is loosely used now days but it's a accusation that's not going to fly this time. Google "Taking Our Country Back" to learn more about who we are and what we represent. We are all over this upcoming election, that I can promise you......det45

I live in Texas and I do not vote a straight ticket. I vote for true conservatives who will support our U.S. Constitution no matter what party they are from.....det45

det45, where do you reside?

I am conservative, an indep. I have never pulled a straight ticket

And yada, yada, yada...
If the majority of a new movement's participants are coming from the one-side of a two-sided battle, it's not going to end well for 2 of 3. :please:

I saw this somewhere else...I think it's pretty accurate.

The Tea Party movement boils down to to one thing and one thing only. It's call PTBPD....

According to The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM IV), five (or more) of the following criteria must be present to indicate PTBPD (Post Traumatic Black President Disorder):

1. Pervasive pattern of instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affects

2. A pattern of unstable and intense irrationality and magical thinking related to paranoia that the government is socialist and out to get you

3. Tendency to wear Paul Revere clothing to include silly hat, buckled shoes, knickers, white knee socks, and garters; when not wearing Paul Revere attire, a tendency to wear gaudy and classless red, white, and blue clothing embroidered with eagles

4. Identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self with a penchant towards hysteria over nothing

5. Affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability, or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days).

6. Inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger and outbursts of screaming "Ah waan Mah Cuntry Baack"

7. Transient, stress-related paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms with tendencies to believe in conspiracy theories or question the authenticity of a certain President?s birth certificate

8. Must be argumentative providing exhaustive amounts of information all of which can be rendered pointless with less than 30 seconds of research on Google....?

I am interested to see how long this "Tea-Party Movement" will last after Obama gets out of office. It just seems to me like all of a sudden there needs to be a new movement of conservatism once the country votes in a black president.

My 22 y/o son has been pretty active and spoke at some tea party meetings. He lives in Wilmington NC, just wondering. He does some radio shows and stuff like that.

The party has to stay conservative and stop letting the media tell us who our candidate is. I dont think the republican party wanted Mccain overall, the liberal media knew he was the easiest to beat, so they promoted him.

If I remember correctly...Ross Perot pulled alot of votes from the Rep. side thus delivering a defeating blow to Bush I. Could it be possible that the TP movement accomplishes the same thing?

I am on the fence with political parties....I vote for who I want..not what party the belong.

..and I agree, we need to do away with the electoral college and install terms lengths for all political offices held and do away with the golden retirements these crooks get....after only 1 term.

Nooooooooooooo, The RNC voted for Mccain and every republican promoted Mccain. You guys give the liberal media way too much credit.:poke:
