Dyno pulls

After reading numerous posts about low HP pulls on some dyno's [especially the portables]; a thought came to mind. Ive seen a few dynos that the cooling fans focused more on hitting the side fairings to hit the radiator and very little or none {on 2 that I saw] , going into the ram air tubes. My thought is if thats the case ,its feesable that there may be a 5-10 HP loss due to the lack of use of that attribute feature which boosts power. IMO I'd want at least 100+ mile wind ram factor to get a correct HP peak reading. I know that schnitz raceing sells the ram air flare extentions that are supposed to add a smite of power. It dawned on me when I remember seeing 2 that had none or much going into the ram air ducts. My super bee had a twin ram air,and @ WOT,you could manually open the doors and you could feel the boost, same as the GTO,roadrunner,TA, 64 thunderbolt 427 ect.......just a thought

The fans just move air, they can't create the kind of force needed to pressurize the airbox.
