Commuta there is the movie '300'
very good flick and also based on a true story so it makes it even better.
And then there is 'Meet the Spartans'
A very funny take off of it .

Very funny.

Leonidas fights a penguin instead of a wolf....

300 Spartans is the classic 60's movie.

300 is the movie based on the comic, graphic novel and is a great movie

Meet the Spartans is the comedy spoof of 300, not my style.....but some will like it

seen both.

I Have seen both, and enjoyed the factual aspect as well as the sensationalized version. Great story and film, no matter which.
I even have the Documentary on the story which is even more incredible.
Recommended watching!

that was one of the reasons why it was so good.....

it was a fantasy, but with a good amount of fact and reality mixed in....one of the coolest things to me was that as the battle goes on the Spartan armor gets just beat to hell, and shows the damage and wear of the previous days battle....as opposed to a movie like Troy or Alexander where the armor and even the men are always spotless....it just added to the realism for me...
