Very Awesome

Hers's an e-mail I got....

conversation overheard on the VHF Guard (emergency)
frequency 121.5 MHz while flying from Europe to Dubai
. It's too good not to pass along...

F18.jpg

The conversation went like this...
Iranian Air Defense Radar: 'Unknown aircraft you are in Iranian airspace. Identify yourself.'
Aircraft: 'This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.'
Air Defense Radar: 'You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our airspace we will launch interceptor aircraft!'
Aircraft: 'This is a United States Marine Corps FA-18 fighter. Send 'em up, I'll wait!'
Air Defense Radar: (no response .... total silence)

God bless our troops

Send em up, I'll wait.... I love that!

Nice flying!!

And "Send him up . . . I'll wait!"
The best part is he can back it up.

"would you like that windshield cleaned while we check your intakes?"

"send them up, I'll wait" can you see the pilot slapping the radio guy on the ground?

First set of pics looks like a Russian aircraft (Suhkoi maybe?)...don't know if it would be flown by any USAF pilot unless it was American owned...

Almost doesn't seem realistic. How would air continue to be forced though the turbines and over the wings behind that big aircraft. I would think it would stall out.
