Coakley has conceded to Scott Brown.

I am so very grateful to Teddy Kennedy for giving America the means to end this debocle called Health Care. Teddy will always have a warm spot in my heart and may he rest in peace.

Teddy was larger than life and will be missed by many. Although I disagreed with him on many issues, I have always had great admiration for this 47 year veteran of the Senate. How was I to know his gift to America would last not only through life but continue after death. RIP Teddy and Thank you for all you have done for America!

+1 :)

Knowing your presidential vote cast for 08, you impress me with your ability to dig through all the political garbage down to the what is really going on part of this mess.... :beerchug:

I'm not familiar with his accomplishments or him as a person. Mostly media hype is what I've heard. Some good some bad.

Care to elaborate on what he did to make him so respected by you. If not its understood the way things have been going here lately. But I genuinely would like to hear a perspective that seems to know a lil about him not just following a scoop.

Either way thanks. Piqued my interest ill be doing some reading of my own when I finally buy me another comp. lol.

THANK YOU GOD FOR GIVING THE CITIZENS OF THESE UNITED STATES THE ABILITY TO STOP THE MADNESS IN WASHINGTON! :please::usa::guitar::clap::super::unclesam::bigcrowd:

Washington has never been so out of touch with the American people. I want them ALL out! Red, blue, green, WHATEVER. I want to see gridlock in Washington D.C. until we can vote every single one of them out and start with people who have OUR best interests at heart!

Hmmm see if I can relate to what he said..

Teddy did a great job doing what it was he did (leading the extreme liberal left), to cap it off, he kicked off just in time to save the country from getting railroaded by the liberal left when his constituents got enough courage together to turn the senate seat over to the conservatives.. I give a lot of credit to the the conservatives of that state that are out numbered by the liberals by some 6 to 1?

either the liberals got wise or the conservatives really worked on getting out and voting..

We need to start a new party.. A little Dem, a little Rep, some lib, some consertive, and a big helping of common sense.. We can call it,, ready?

The DO WHAT IS RIGHT PARTY!

We need to abolish the party system completely. We should be able to vote for each individual based on their individual beliefs instead of choosing which party more closely matches ours.

Hey at least we get a ray of hope at the end of the day here.... We have been barreling down this Socialist/Marxist agenda for almost a year where the govt has acquired the largest parts of the free enterprise system (Banking, insurance, auto and health care) by purchasing them with money that does not exist..

The Govt is incapable of running itself with any efficiency, how would they know how to run these 4?

It is NOT ok for auto industry execs to charter a jet to a meeting yet it is ok for say Pelosi to fly across the country bi-weekly in a taxpayer fed 747?

Do it right :)

It's a little known fact that Ted was a military hero. He single handedly saved half the crew of the submarine U.S.S. Chappaquiddick.

I think what you mean is uncommon sense if it was common we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place. GO DIRT

Clean the house and senate. We need people that have a clue on what America really means. It's the land of "If you want something, get off your butt and work toward it."

I hereby request from the admins a new smiley, a spinning coffin

The earth is going to precess off it's axis because Ted's coffin is spinning so hard the centrifical force is putting the earth's spin out of sync

I am going to watch with interest the fight to get Scott Brown seated. Remember Ron Burris, who bought off Bagleovich (sp?) for Obama's vacant seat. They HAD HIM ON TAPE basically offering a bribe to get the seat, and the Dems rushed him thru the halls of Congress on a white carpet to get him seated to vote. Now, there is talk of trying to pass the health care bill before Scott Brown can get seated to bypass the CLEAR WILL OF THE PEOPLE (it can't get much clearer than this). I hope Nancy Pelosi is actually stupid enough to try, because the hypocrisy will be so huge that they will never be able to live it down. This health care bill (fiasco) is DEAD unless the Dems cheat, and EVERYONE will know it.

Don't get me wrong, Universal health care is a NOBLE cause; the devil is in the details and the fact that it must somehow be PAID for.
