Q: Transfering License to California

Well looks like I have a higher chance of getting a job in California than here in Arizona, anyone here know when transfering license from AZ to CA will I have to retake tests, or just get a new one. When I moved from Cali to AZ all I did was fill forms and got a new AZ license. Reason is I have few licenses: Car, Motorcycle, and CDL. Anyone know how CA DMV works?

I can't speak to the CDL but for car & bike you have to retake the written portion. If you have a valid license from another state they accept that in lieu of taking the riding tests.
