Am in ER with 79 year old dad fever blood in urine puke and PB 205/110. He's pretty strong for his age but he's old and I'm damn sure not ready to lose him just yet....

Sorry to hear about your dad Keith - tell the doc to keep up the work, seems to be working so far.

sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he's back to his normal self very very soon  tell the docs to keep doing their thing, sounds like you'll have a few specialists involved, make sure they are all talking to each other. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help out

Sir,
Thoughts and well wishes go out - my best towards a speedy recovery for your father.

Thank you all. He is now home resting. Urinary Track infection. Treated with Antibiotics. His BP is high anyway, but the first time they took it was right after he threw up which may explain why it was off the scale.

However, the EGK revealed a problem; the ER doc called it a Left Bundle Branch Block. From what I can tell, it means that something is not firing at exactly the same time (wikipedia). In any case, it's serious and he needs to go see a cardiologist ASAP.

Thank you all for the kind thoughts! This is the kind of excitement I DON'T need!

Sorry to hear about your Dad, Keith. Hopefully the docs can get everything back to normal without too much trouble, and soon. Prayers sent!
