Fairing Screens??

I'd have to say, this was one of the best things I have done to the bike. It really looks nice to add the screens.

I just installed mine about a month ago and I loooove the look of them. Got mine off eBay for about $35. Took my time and put a lot of attn into the prep, cleaning where they would be attached and putting blankets on some saw horses and suspending enough wieght to hold the screens in place and secure against the fairings, without being to much for the screen and fairing. Around 1-2 pounds

Good mod threads never die. Time flys. 15 years.

Have now done this mod several times, 4 different bikes. Not much for install pics though on this thread. Of the 4-5 times I've done this, pre-fit chromed screens are my favorite. Also got a set for the TL1000R.

Install on the TL1000R

Other thread on the site has you using 1 lb weights to hold the fairing screens in place, but this is easier. I have a lot of woodworking stuff around the shop, so I used clamps. Super simple. No string, tying, etc.

Dab the glue on with a screwdriver in the corners, it hardens very quickly-couple minutes. Let them sit overnight and done.
