I get mine from iron pony..... Mounting it up tonight after work. Fully expect to barely navigate the curves at the bash and embarrassingly make everyone wait for my stick like butter shinkos.....:poke:
 
Just installed some Shinko 009s today that I bought from Cycle Gear. Unless I missed someone they seemed to have the best prices on Shinkos.

Do these tires seem abnormally wide for a 190? I know the original Bridgestones were supposedly 199 but this rear seems wider than that. Definitely a lot wider than the Avon I took off.
 
i just orders a shinko rear for 67 bucks includeing shipping!!!!!!! *disclaimer..for bubbas gs500 not mine lol)

Not trying to ask them to do more than they should ~ if you buy a higher number they'll last longer . . .

However, that also means that they will not stick nearly as well as the lower number tires !

What I've found out is that the 180 / 55 " HOOK - UP " works great for the drags.

I wouldn't ask that tire to perform well heading up to an Idyllwild ride !

The " ADVANCE " 005 would be my choice for curving roads .

The " APEX " 010 would last me a little bit longer.

Buy whatever you want to go ride with ?

I'm OK~ with a good Shinko.

Just my two cents here.
