I'm not posting in the new owners section as I am not a owner yet . I joined to learn a little more about the GSXR1300/Hayabusa or Peregrine Falcon . I own several motorcycles . 2012 FJR 1300 , Muzzy pipes , decatted , PCV , auto tune , Major suspension upgrades from Hagon .
Reduced 50 pounds of the FJR , but still a heavy ride @ 600 pounds . Best 1/4 mile 10.64 @ 129 mph . Best top speed run 161 mph GPS
almost on the limiter @ 9200 rpms . This bike was bought for two up / long hauls alone . So the wife has her own bike . My plans are to sell my FJR soon. Then purchase a Hayabusa with the later Brembo brakes . Must do mods for myself different wind screen , TRE mod , Blackwidow header for dual cans , Brocks clutch gear , PCV , heated grips , see if I can get a first gen center stand on the 1300 . Shori battery as well .

I drag race from time to time , but the mighty Busa wont see much there with me . I have a little old 1200 that runs 10.0's @ stock wheel base
and mid 9's with a arm . 400 pounds wet , 145 hp its a fun Friday night E.T. machine .

I'm standing by to see what rumor is true for 2016 on the GSXR1300 . I hope they make a rumored 1500 so I can get a sweet deal on a 2015 1300 model .

You may notice in some of my Pictures I have a Kaw , but dont think for a second I like the ZX14 / 14R . A little to hard to work on them , and I have for my customers . Handle poorly as well . My old ZX11D with aftermarket rear shock / stock forks with springs was better than both ZX14's I rode . ( one was new ) I'm over on the ZRXOA as well . Same board name . FYI I'm 5 " 1 a buck 42 , and my FJR sit .5" taller than stock .

Also when I really started digging the GSXR1300

My old 99 ZX11D after wheels/weight reduction a few power mods she could cough
up 181 mph ( gps ) run the 1/4 in the ten teens geared 17/42 ( not stock 17/45 )
I sold her to my very close friend Chuck H. I still wrench/ride her from time to time .
Even made a Harley Davidson magazine with her . Need to scan in the article/picture

Customers drag Bike ( ZRX 1224 ) Its nice repairing some of theses bikes then getting to make some passes on them .

My time on this turbo 1109 ZRX clutch was not set up for my very light but . had to get out of it in 1st , and 2nd due to wheelie with the long arm .
Owner is 6' 5" pictured . he manages low teens but still sorting the bike out . However max mph is 149 for him @ the traps .

Thanks . One nice thing coming up is my friend Chuck is buying his 2015 Hayabusa in the next few weeks . So I get to dive in on his with a few mods/upgrades before I own one . Notice the long arm Busa kicking my tail out of the hole . I was just running 1.62 sixtys ,but If I remember correctly he was doing the 60' in 1.40's .

Hi WOW I still love my ZX 11 I had a rear shock set up for drags, a 1300 kit cams, head work Dominator magnesium wheels, P M 6 pistons front and 2 pistons rear. 6 in over arm and 6 in over rear body work the bike was black with purple and pink flames, the bike made 207 hp at the wheel. It also had a 50 shot and in Daytona bike week 1999 made 247HP at the AMI shoot out.
