Weather had a potential to mess up our ride, but as you can see it cooperated nicely for us. This is Filmore looking southeast.

After we got some gas in Ba Busa's tank, we headed over to Jack in the Box for a break since I rode 50 miles to meet up and Rich rode 80 miles, I think...

Here are the two Busas waiting patiently for us.

So we head west to Hwy 150 in Santa Paula and guess what, its closed!!!

So we ride to Ventura to pick up Hwy33, get up to Ojai and guess what??

And just in case we thought about going through there is the popo just to make sure we behave! That cop had to be bored to tears to just sit there all day.

So we head back east, eat lunch at Santa Clarita. And pick up the canyon road that leads to Lake Hughes. Then turn left on the road that leads to Gorman and guess what...??

There were soo many road closed signs, but then the road was fine, no road blocks. I think the road workers need to go pick up all the signs laying around....

When I got home, I found this hole in my rear tire.  Guess I was lucky it didn't go all the way through!! I rode 300+miles and Ba Busa had to have done 400+miles.

Lots of bugs and is that really almost $12 for gas??? Hey, did the police think they were hiding behind the signs or were they just enforcing the Road Closed?

Way too much bad weather for you guys this year. Lots of damage all over the state. Glad you at least got to ride a little though. Thanks for the pics.

Those were the worst shots. A couple roads were decent for a little fun, but you had to stay on your toes for water and dirt!

Gas not cheap in SoCal. The cop was just enforcing the road closure.

Ummm ...  Actually, its a 5.5 gallon tank.

And yes I regularly have to pump 5.5 to 5.7 gals into it.

Even have had to have a couple of board members push me to
pump.  

Too bad about the roads tho.

No clue where the hole came from.  I could have gotten it on that ride or been riding on it for months.  I lane share a lot on the freeway and if I was betting, I bet it happened lane sharing on the 105. Lots of little metal pieces and crap lay there between the two double yellows on the 105...
