Good day spent with my son and my Busa (pics)

Went to watch my19 year old son today on a new motocross track. Started out rough in the beginning and he over shot a double. Luckily the only thing that was hurt was his pride and a little damage to his crf450. So much for the new Yoshimura pipe we put on last week. I still managed to put on a 175 miles today on the Busa. (I took the long way home from the motocross track)

Is it any hotter riding on a dirt bike than a street bike?

Many of us ride with leather jackets when on the street, however when on a dirt bike track the jersey's are paper thin and whipping in the wind.
Dirt bike pants are much thicker than the jersey's. Does that mean you are only suppose to get hurt or injured below the waist?
I guess we need body armor for both sports...

yea, i know how you feel....my son also went out motocrossing on a new track for the first time...he came back with a damaged bike and a broken ego....
