Road trip : 6/9/12

Been so busy I havent had time to edit & post up pics and story... left Chico about 8 on saturday losely following a trip I made on a harley back in 05.

The Solo trip was only 3 days but I had a blast 1200 miles and worn out tires.

Day 1 was up through Susanville, Alturas, up into Bend Oregon.

Day 2 was from Bend to my fave spot on the Oregon Coast "Yachats" pronounced " Yah Hots "

Day 3 was down the coast then over to I-5 thru Shasta area

Awesome shots! Looks like a great trip. Thanks for sharing. Sorry about your damage. Looks very similar to mine after falling off the stand in the driveway a couple of weeks ago. I think I did more damage picking it up than the actual fall. ???

When I stopped to take a pic of the old truck the kick stand wasnt down all the way, after it was more than 1/2 way down I couldnt hold while still seated ... that was a first

Soft luggage saved the side I think.

One other thing I didnt mention was I didnt see one leo in all of Oregon except in the small town of Lake View, seriously not even one!

On Sat night about 5:30 I arrived at Riley Oregon, I was thinking I was only 20 miles from Bend, but found out it was another 105 miles! ... well I was very tired and cold, so after a cup of coffee and an energy bar I mustered up the boldness to carry on. An hour later I was in Bend.
