Red1100cc's Epic Trip Through New Mexico- travel log w/pics

its freakin late and i have to be in meetings at 9am.
had a good day hangin out and listening and learning.
the bikers are becoming more organized with the aid of technology. fighting the man with greater effectiveness than ever. we are standing up for our rights and refusing to be bullied anymore by politicians, feds, cops, that feel the need to violate our right to further their own self righteous agenda.

never have i seen the clubs MORE united, working together with their Small Motorcycle Rights Organizations (SMRO's).

Wow up here in Michigan all the 1%ers patches are black and white. You do not see colors on any of them. Dont see to many pagens either.

Thats cool though that they can come together like that and be civil. In MI, there are not a whole lot of meetings that take place that allow more then one or two members from each club for the reason of keeping things cool.

Those are some great back patch pictures. Glad everyone was working together and keeping the peace. Love and miss you.

i miss you too Baby.
spending the night an Sumner Lake. going to do the Billy the Kid stuff at Ft. Sumner in tomorrow. then off to Roswell to look for aliens. and up to Linclon for more billy the kid stuff.

im back on the road and lovin it.

im getting a motel tomorrow and will have more time to load pics. (i hope)

til late my friends.
:beerchug:

A few of my neighbors belong to the Gypsy's M/C....seen a couple in your pics . The one who lived next to me passed a few months ago. He was "Master of Arms" for their local chapter. A few more live on the other side of him and a couple of more a few streets over.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I cant wait to do a good road trip again:beerchug:

Besides all the Ncom stuff, I did get out for lunch with my friend Tim. Had a nice greasy burger.

On Sunday, with the convention over we got out for a ride to the rt66 casino for a bite to eat.
I stayed with my friend Sharp that night and headed for ft Sumner Monday around 3ish.

Sharp lives up in the mountains; its cooler up there. Lots of trees too. And cool thing is, he’s free to come with me. His bike’s not done. But his car runs.

There were a few burnt out little towns along the way. For the most part sight distance ranged between 3-5miles. Long rolling hills, long flat fast.
We made good time. Hit Ft. Sumner about dusk. Ate a good meal and wondered out to the lake to find a place to camp. In the dark.

It is always strange camping in the dark. You pick an awesome spot, and then the sun comes up.
This time wasn’t too bad. Still out in the open on the beach, but hey, it was nice last night.

Noticed the Hideaway on the way out of the lake. :beerchug:

1st stop is Billy the Kid’s grave site.

We go in and check out all the stuff. Lots of old groovy stuff.
After lookin at the museum and his grave site we went back to town so I could check out the other museum.
After taking a few pics and getting a sticker or two; we were off to look for aliens in Roswell.

They had some neat paintings in there as well as one on how to tell if you had a close encounter if the 1st 2nd or 3rd kind. and a few dead aliens! Ahhh..lol
We ate some good burgers and headed on to Lincoln.

Everything was closed. I had hoped to stay there for the night. Oh well. I got a few pics of the store and the courthouse.
“Hay Bob! ,BOOM, Bye Bob.â€￾

I had seen good things about the Smokey the Bear Motel in Capitan. So onward and upward we go.

The rooms are pretty nice. Kinda $$ but oh well. The shower was worth it. Were going to dink around and head back up to Albuquerque tomorrow. Sharp wants to go check out some town that makes awesome juice. (I donno).
