I attempted my first polish job on my new little 600. I have to admit I think it cam out nicely with under 20 dollars invested. I didn't get as indepth that some do with polishing, but I'm satisfied.

Very nice job! I really like that look. How long did it take you and what did you use to do it?
Thanks in advance,
Reiny

Looks like a job well done! I really like that you didn't polish the whole wheel.

+1 on that, doing just the lip is, in my opinion, a better look than doing the whole thing. Contrast is nice.

That's a sweet scoot, would love to have something like that for just burning around town!

And kudos for not polishing the whole rim!

Now that I have done this, I have had a couple guys say it won't last and it's going to oxidize even with regular polish. Does anyone have an experience with this???

you do have to re-polish( not sand) if it gets wet, I have had mine done for almost 4 years, and mine stays outside, when it rans I have to re-polish but besides that it is fine.
