What is the best method to clean inside my front sprocket cover? I have just used my hand and a rag to get major clumps out but i'd like it much cleaner prior to installing new chain and sprockets. Any suggestions
thanks

I like to use brake cleaner. Just be careful with it....it's not to friendly to paint or thin plastics.

Takes some time, but the WD40 really helps. Spray it down, let it soak, then spray the rag and wipe wipe wipe. It's possible to make like new again!

solvent and solvent brush.. cheapest way I know of... put a small catch pan underneath and start cleaning... (my air powered solvent gun works great) :)

Yep, Berryman B-12 Chemtool, and a nylon, or shorty brass will do fine. Nice finish BTW !!!! That's the way it's supposed to look....TIGHT !!!! :super:
