Years ago, it was this very photo that got me out of my chair to go seek out where these wondrous curves could be to experience them for myself!

Steve rode up from LA for his 3rd ride on his FJR, so we had two of them.

We keep teasing my riding partner Tim (who's put 65K on this bike in 5 yrs) about all his gadgets, but he always gives us so much material to work with.

Note the new cup holder.

Don't laugh, he actually used it for his coffee.

'No expressy, no curvy' we tease him.

Never been to Yosemite you say? Most of the riders hadn't.

Paul's lived in California for decades and this was his first time to the Yosemite Valley

Not one of ours, but we saw this at the Ahwahnee Hotel. Quite the paintjob!

Lot of blue California skies today & we lucked out with perfect temps!

Tinker & Half Dome- really is a marvelous spot in the Sierra Nevada to be able to ride up here and take it all in.

A week later, they had snow above 7000 ft (we went up to nearly 10,000) so we had good timing!

Wow...fantastic pictures. The photo of the little dragon road makes me want to get on my bike and go there right now.

Off to check out Mono Lake in the high desert

We tried out a quaint little inn - the Tioga Lodge, great place!

Right outside of Lee Vining, and along the shores of Mono Lake.
