The problem with Goverment is the fact that "we" should control it and it has now become "we control you".

By electing Obama the "control" becomes even greater. Well, not so much Obama but people like Murtha, Pelosi, Senator Ried etc pushing the agenda of the Democratic Party and a far left Society.

The Fairness Doctrine is the silencing of "freedom of speech" by controling what is said and what will be discussed. Pelosi wants this bad as do others in the Party. They hate talk radio.

With taxing the "have's" for the "have not's" along with other agenda's this Country will be to it's knees. (we are almost there already)

The bailout was yet another scam handed to us. We had no other choice or options. The stock market and my portfollo takes the hit. (yours as well) They will just explain it had to happen. Trust us.

It's not over yet. Bring the Country down, fuel the masses that are hurting with promises that can't be kept and blame it all on the current Adminastration.

It will happen again four years from now.

As stated earlier (somewhere in here) the Dems have gone to far left. It's getting more like San Francisco every year. We can not be brought down to European ideas and thinking.

Also, we can not play Robin Hood anymore and need strong leadership. Honestly, even if McCain wins nothing will get done with a Democratic Congress.

We need a third party. Bad.

I agree, If there was another Democratic option, I think I could feel more comfortable voting democrat....

If there was a president proposing to shut down our boarders, stop all of our aid to countries that hate us anyway, take care of our own country first, open our reserves of oil (which we have over 50 years worth at our current consumption) and set a true date to be completely energy sufficient on other means that crude oil (maybe 10 years out leaving us a 40 year reserve), give our lower proverty level americans free education and training instead of free money (the old saying about teaching someone to fish instead of just giving them fish to eat), I could back that president in a minute. Screing with the small business owners that are the only ones keeping this country running right now is wrong. I feel Obama is a great marketer and knows how to work the general public for his own gain. A socialist concept is not going to fly well in our country. I see more loss of jobs and more businesses pulling out of our country, it might help for a quick instance but will fall apart in the long term. I don't agree with Mcain's plans either but feel a little more confident it is atleast starting to head in a direction that is feasible.

Our country would be better off with a third candidate that is willing to run this country like a business. If it was a business, it would have been downsized and all the high ups would have been fired long ago and probably would have been bought out...

+1 for Fate. I am not happy with what my Party has done either. They lost their way when it came to fiscal responsibility. They pandered to too much special interest. They lost the ability to negociate with the other side of the isle when the country's best interest was at stake (albeit the other side was equally combative). Some of the members decided their own wants were more important than the common good - some of them either outright broke the law, or made fools of themselves and should be replaced.

But when all is said and done, since there is NOT a third party candidate, I believe the Republicans are the better choice to lead the country. Believe me, if they win, I'm going to be telling them where they screwed up; and if they lose I'm going to be telling them where they screwed up and what they need to do to get back in the game - if the Dems when there is gonna be PLENTY to criticize. BUT - I can do it RESPECTFULLY which is something I haven't seen from the radical liberals YET.
