Well, they are guilty of being picked up on the Battlefield in an armed fight against US Troops ! So, do you suggest we send them back to Afgan and release them so they can kill some more of our troops ?

If so, well OK, but the next time our troops catch them, I doubt they would be moving anymore. I just hope we could kill them, before they kill more of us.

the only thing we do know for sure, no one else wants them, they shopped it and even the countries they were taken from said, um no, you keep em.

now I'm sure they didnt ask iran if they would take them but iraq, the UK, hell even france/germany said NO.

I'm fairly certain that regardless of the reason they were taken/held they were doing more than farming, though it would seem even the farmers there have been problematic, so IDK. They were military prisners not taken by some rogue congress person and one can only assume there's a reason the ones that are still there are there for good reasons. They have released a number of the people held there over the years, so it would seem only the reeeaaaalllly bad ones are left.

Either way, someone should give them a raft, some basic items and a swift push off the beach. Lets see if they can immigrate somewhere, just would rather it not be here

Article did say something about some of the prisoners being from central asia region that china considers to be separitist so cannot be sent back to china. In no way does this mean that all of those being considered for release will be the ones from this region, just a part of the article that I did see before I walked away from computer in complete disgust at proposed actions

it doesnt say they "ARE" being released into the states,its says "May", either way I personally dont know what they did or what the law calls for but they dont belong here,that is for sure.
