Default Zero Gravity Windscreens for your Busa

Zero Gravity Windscreens for your motorcycle

Zero Gravity probably doesn't need much introduction. They've been makin' windscreens in the ballpark of 15 years now & make 4 versions of their windshields.

Stock Replacement:
This one mimics the lines of the stock screen your bike came with. However, it's optically clear (vs opaque) and doesn't have the thick rounded lip that some bikes come with like the Busa. If you do filming or still shots through the screen like I do, get an optically clear one like the Zero Gravity. This is my favorite windscreen actually, gives the Busa a really sleek look & compliments the long-low-fast-standing-still feel that the Hayabusa has.

Double Bubble:
The DB is pretty much a household name in the community. A bubble within a bubble, coming out of the racing & trackday community, extremely popular with riders. (I have two! A clear & a dark smoke)

Sport-Touring:
ZG makes a taller screen for many bikes bumping the height 2-4 inches, sometimes more. I had one of these on my ole ZX-11D and loved it. Great screen and must-have mod for the sport-touring rider.

Lo-Profile Double Bubble:
This is relatively new to the ZG lineup, and basically a cut back DB screen. ZG does make a Lo-Profile DB for the 99-07 Gen-I Hayabusa. (They do not make a lo-profile DB for the '08+ & don't have plans to.)

Overally, swapping out your stock screen is an easy low-cost mod and will get you one step closer to altering your bike to fit you for your type of ride style. Note ZG is not the only player in the aftermarket windscreen market. Riders have their favorites plus the functionality is all very similar. However, the look of the windscreens can vary widely. So find one you are comfortable with & trade up.

Btw, it was a bit of a challenge to conceptualize how to build an entire site about ZG and cover their entire product line. I needed 10 webpages to cover all of it.

So what I built is all based off their parts list. <--Clicky

Find the part number of the screen you want + the type, and go from there. Got any , let me know.

Gotta have lots of pics. Here's mine:

Clear vs. lite smoke vs. dark smoke vs colors! Very much a matter of preference. I also have a blue one to match the bike.

This is dark smoke double bubble.

So how's the Double Bubble match up to the rider while actually riding. You had to ask. These shots do a good job of showing the relation of airflow vs the stock lines. Also, if you do any high-speed runs, the DB gives you a nice little calm spot to put your head inside of & still see through the windscreen.

Now here the Zero Gravity stock replacement. Big difference to me in the look. With this one, the Busa exudes that much beloved long-low-fast-standing-still look.

Actually riding the bike. If you are in hot climates, this one works great.
