In a set of FP Tactical Bi-Fold Levers for your Gen-II Busa?

These are available to purchase for Gen-I. However, not for the 2008+.

Spoke with manufacture today and the answer was simple - get us 20-30 people that are interested and we'll make the new lever. It does seem odd that we're going into the 3rd model year of this bike, and no one makes an aftermarket lever specific to this model year. So consider this your presale notice. Won't collect any monies, too early for that, but will collect names. If I can give them notice I've got 20-30 people ready for a set, that help move us to the head of the pack on their development schedule. Also said they would be willing to develop the lever if we'd be willing to supply the bike. Click link below if you are local.

You already got me on that list, but im sooo interested. FP Tactical levers look fabulous. You should def hit up other busa forums, like busanation.com and extremebusa.com and get the ball rolling on those sites aswell. Get that list to 30 real quick! Man I hope these come out soon, I would of loved for pazzo to make them for the GEN 2 but FP looks great, camo looks awesome, It would be nice if they made a CARBON FIBER FINISH, oh that would be glorious!

I'm in - Shorty Brake, Long Clutch - Blue w/ Titanium adjuster for my 2009 Busa. Let me know what I have to do to make that happen.

Yes. Originally a few months ago, only shorts were available, but they've come out with long versions.

Plus someone is going to ask about Long-Short combos, and that's never been an issue either. We just specify that on our orders, no additional charge for a custom order like that.

Here's the latest as of yesterday...

Good new is yes, I've found a 08 owner who's willing to drop off their bike at FP Tactical's shop so they can work up the levers.

They'll drop the bike off next week and we'll go from there.

On a side note; Gen 1 Pazzo levers, fit the Gen 2?

Kaine - answer is yes. Levers are interchangeable b/n the Gen-I & Gen II. However, lot of thread material and posts about this. On Gen-II, the right side can touch at full lock with a set of Gen-I levers. If you move the cluster in and down, you can adjust the lever cluster to make it work - but the manufactures have pulled the Gen-II from their fitment lists due to that touch at full lock.

Hopefully if all goes well, FP Tactical may be the first to come out with an aftermarket lever set specifically designed for the 08+.

You also have twice as many color options with FP Tacticals, and option to have both levers engraved is cool.

Another thing that's new with FP Tacticals is the ability to engrave digitized logos, not just text. Waiting for someone to request this.

This could be especially cool for bike clubs who might want to put their logos or symbols on the levers.

The engraving is normally $12 per side, it's free during this GB. That's nearly 25 bucks right there. Goes till 12/26/09.

A logo is a bit more work, so I'm waiting for someone serious to ask.
