I wasn't interested in the original because I do DVDs, not just post to YouTube. I am very interested in getting a couple of these. Alot of the engineering and patching together of components for high quality video is already integrated into these.

Keith - it does not fit the current GoProMotorsports housing. The redesign made the camera just a wee bit thicker due to the new new on-board rechargeable battery. Trade off is no more eating up AAA batteries. All the mounts though are still compatible between the versions.

Here's a photo from the past, but this is pushing 5 or so years ago when I had a microphone routed through the Hayabusa that came out just above the exhaust. Plugged into the full-size video cameo mounted on the tank. We've come a long way in 5 years! Going to have to get another microphone.

The new GoPro HD also retains the ability to function as a normal camera.

Being a bit of a photo nut, the Photo-Every-2-Seconds setting has been a real pleasure to work with to Get the Shot.

Some of the latest from a few days ago... Looking forward to shooting these in hi-def! This one might just be the cover of the 2010 PashnitBusa Calendar.

Hi Keith - the first batch is shipping to us tomorrow.

Due to it being a presale, the catch is the manufacture is shipping out in order received and our orders are staggered. So we'll get the orders placed 9/28-10/4 first and send those out. Then we should get the next shipment shortly.

Have also completed updatinh our Accessories page for the GoPro - some items are so new (LCD Clip-On screen), they are not yet available, but just waiting on some the cool accessory items to be released.

Btw, did you know you can power the normal GoPro with your bike? It was a micro-usb plug on it, and you can use the included cable in the kit which is USB on the other end. That plugs into this:



Other thing we're sort of holding off on announcing is the new GoPro HD uses mini-usb plug on the side.

So take a look at this one:

If this will work, you'd be able to power the GoPro HD directly off your motorcycle battery. Basically, a simple $40 wire will solve all your power issues and with 9 hours of record time- you could record all day.

Once we have the cameras in hand, we can confirm.
