XC Contour Rotors from EBC for Hayabusa

Today been working on the new XC Rotors from EBC. These are relatively new on the market, but can't find many people that actively sell them. The Pro-Lite Contour rotors that EBC is well-known for are officially discontinued and replaced with this.

EBC corporate here in the US (socal) is moving their facility to a new location, and so product is not shipping right now. Probably not till 1st week of July '09 they'll come back on line so good time to throw this out there.

What are EBC XC Rotors & what's different? Bikeland did really good vid. Can't say it better.



Synapsis of the vid is 9 buttons is old news. EBC has developed this new rotor with just 6 buttons, PLUS tossed the circular rivet for better technology called the SD system. 6 buttons give less weight too. Less rotating mass means quicker turn in. PLUS they've gone to an aluminum carrier vs. steel for even less weight. And so on so forth. Yes, they come in polished for our bling-bling buddies. XC Contour & X Series Rotors


This would make a good GB for July as EBC stock get back to normal, plus could toss in some EBC HH pads to make a sweet upgrade to your 99-09 Busa. Retail on these run about $235 a rotor for the XC Contour.

That's great Charles, glad to be able to provide them for you! Would love to see photos of them on the bike! I don't think anyone has ever posted up the new XC rotors on a Hayabusa.

Quick update to the new EBC XC Series rotors that are out. These rotors are ligther, use only 6 buttons instead of 9, and have a new button design. Scroll up to watch the vid, great info.

EBC has been on hiatus for last few weeks while moving to a new facility (in LA). They are looking to begin shipping product after the July 4th holiday is their target date. All the orders I've got right now are pending and on hold.

So be a week and the XC Rotors are expected to be available again.
