Hi Gang,

Just rode in from Wyoming last night. Had a blast riding with some friends (retired Police like me). Stayed a couple of days in Cody, taking in the sights and going to the Buffalo Bill Cody museum. Will do a trip report on this ride. Lots of great photo's etc.

I see some of you are headed East this weekend. Have a good time. If you are going across Chinook Pass be prepared to stop for road construction. I came across White Pass last night. Road is in great shape but watch for rocks on the road surface.

Now about my Goldwing... *It takes a "Geezer" to appreciate it Neeley.

The 1500 is a "Geezer Glide". The 1800 is a "Honda Potimus."

Glad to see Neeley going on the overnighter ride. He seems to work all the time and doesn't get out and play enough.

No matter how fast your bike color is... Radar can still catch you.

Neeley, Mom and I will be taking in the Puyallup fair this weekend. Have a great time, keep your wheels to the pavement and avoid the green grief.

I rode about 2,700. Did the last 1,000 yesterday. Was gone 8 days.

The group did 300 to 400 miles during the day. Evenings were spent pontificating about the days ride in the lounge or the spa while taking different oral medications from bottle or glass.

But you got to admit , a long ride like 1000 miles is too long on a busa . I know I did one , well ... okay I only did 981 miles in one day.

Yea, I was just too close to stop. I was on the way to my moms in Va. . The only thing that was sore was my neck on my throttle side.

Yeah 1000 is simply too much, 500 back country roads is about what id consider a full day.

I was sitting at a full stop on south bound 405 and a gmc yukon came from behind and whamo Buckled up my rear end. WHen It happened I felt ok, but the longer it goes the tighter my neck is getting. Im so sorry, My wife cant even believe Im not going. Last year she had a long surgery and I went on a 2500 mile ride 4 days after.(yes Im very bad for that) but i live to ride. Meaning that she also knows how much I ride and she knows I really must be in pain. From my neck down to middle back. It feels like its on fire. I am Ice'in it now. I tell you though if it feels ok tomorrow Im there even if james says i shouldnt. More than likley it wont though. You all have a safe and fun ride. Take me lots of pics.

We have lots of time to ride together I just wont be at this one.
