Default Alth rotors - 80% off

"We've got to move, and still have too many Alth brake rotors! So, for a limited time, we're offering the deepest discounts in our history.

All Alth rotor prices are slashed, and we're talking about some of the finest rotors in the world.

How big are the discounts? Rotor sets that originally sold for $1,050 are now $199 with free ground shipping (within the contiguous 48 states) on all orders over $150. That's $199 per set of two front full floating rotors!

Over 80% off

Most rotors are less, many a lot less than $199! Get 'em now. Prices limited to stock on hand. When they're gone, they're gone.

Hum...didn't see the Busa listed. Up to the 1000, any word on the quality of these?

Found this on the Aussies Hayabusa page. Posted by Busanthony. Also had this link to something else. http://sportbiketrackgear2.homestead...lthrotors.html

The write up

The rotors are bolted on Ray's Alth rotors/ Ferrodo pad combo Saturday morning

They are thicker than standard rotors, making slotting in new pads a bit tricky but after a 2 hours front and rear were installed.

i sent the mechanic for the first 'test' ride, just in case there were any poblems or strange noises.

he came back with a nervous twitch, shaking his head... whats wrong? i said. the brakes are awesome he said but you did not tell me this bike is lethal.... apparently he thought he would open it full throttle in 3rd (never have ridden a hayabusa before) and the back tyre started frying up (spinning) so he was rear wheel sideways @100kp/ hr . i suppose the rear was a bit ratty and it was a cold morning. i told him the busa needs to be ridden with respect or it will spit you off.

anyway i rode the busa home on the freeway mainly and "feeling" the brakes as i cruised for 50kms both front and rear being careful not to over heat or glaze by short by not too hard braking. by the time i got home i pull in to my local streets braking with one finger... what an improvement.

i will keep you posted to see how they progress or if there are any problems

there are some rotors that interchange from the 1000 to the Busa but trying to find those numbers is a PITA...

how about posting "Busa" specific parts for us to buy? the last few sales CB has had, no busa stuff..

TLR 1000 and 97-03 GSXR 600/750. fit the busa.. probably others but this is what I found...

I sent them an email and they are sold out of rotors to fit a Busa.

Does any one know if the 08-09 busa and the listed gsxr rotors have the same rotor bolt pattern? I thought they were.

So what you're saying is there are these fantastic rotors being advertised on a Hayabusa owner's forum but they aren't available for the Hayabusa?

Let me suggest a homework assignment...

I've got a set on the front of my bike, but couldn't get a set for the rear. My understanding is they stopped importing them for whatever reason so they're trying to get rid of their stock. You can however buy them online from overseas, but man are they expensive!

Dan

Not just Busa's on this forum. Just that they sold out of the Busa specific rotors. I am going back to check on my ZX9 and XX. These are great rotors with a even greater price.
