Got my first busa recently. I'm not a fan of the stock exhaust. I bought a 4-2-1 yoshi header but not at all thrilled about the large mufflers available. Newbie question. Can I install a muffler from a small bike like a 1000/750/600? Really like the look of Gytr exhaust for 600 and saw it installed on a you tube video what are pros and cons

You can do anything you want to get the look you are after. However, there is a good possibility that your performance will suffer a bit.
Is it the worth or length your not happy with? If its length, the pipe can be cut down down fairily easily.
and remember: 
Want a contained sporty sound. Not the ridiculous load roar of
Straight pipes. Anyone got a used one for sale worth cutting

If you want quieter, look at getting some good baffles.
Does the muffler have the baffle in the tip?
If not, buy one, it will make a noticeable difference in tone and make it at least 3 or 4 decibels quieter.
