Welcome....

You asked about the clutch. In stock gearing configuration the clutch kinda "chugs and clunks" on slow take offs... Low milage suggest the clutch is ok. You may consider changing the gearing. I went 3+ on the rear {7% loss at top speed} but smooth as silk at take offs.... will haul my 230 lbs at idle on take offs. Enjoy and respect her and she will treat you right.

Also... maybe time to adjust your idle to around 1100 to 1200 rpm's

Looks like from your picks the front preload adjustment nuts are backed way out thats going make the nose pretty soft, set them to factory and adjust from there.

One other thing to look at is a cooling fan upgrade. Gen I bikes tend to get hot from time to time, so adding a second fan and using Muzzys aluminum blades may be the way to go if you find yourself sitting in traffic on hot days.

Anyway, to the family and the addiction. Enjoy your stay.
COOLING FAN tell me more!!!
i got a chance to ride it "not so legally" to get a state inspection. and this bad boy is HOTTT..like hot HOT.. the temp guage was at the tick mark... i might of rode it for 20 maybe 30 mins... and EVERYTHING was hot.. legs, thighs, but everything... am i missing heat shields under the plastics or something along those lines?

The magic black buttons are pretty user friendly. I never read the manual on them, and yes the Busa is a hot ride. My '08 is hotter than my '06 was on my right thigh.
