Hallo,

My name is jaimy from Amsterdam and i have a question.

dous anyone know what you need to do fore a tail conversion? do you need to cut and weld the hole subframe?

Thanks.

There are several methods that have been used successfully. There are several kits available that include aluminum billet machined rails to fit the Hayabusa frame and support the K8 seat box. I used the stock Hayabusa subframe and cut it apart and used the pieces to build my own rails. Unless you are very mechanically inclined and have a lot of time on your hands, a kit will be the best way to go.

hey i think i read your post verry cool project.

but the kits are like 800 dollar thats crazy there must be a cheaper and easier whay

Mine is 2nd hand GSXR K6 plastics, subframe, lights etc.
A mate with a welder chopped it and with a few bits and pieces added / removed
its a straight bolt on. Bit DIY / homemade but works fine.
Cheapest way to do it.
