Public Donation Button w/ Paypal Option

Having a forum of my own with 50,000+ members I know how much donations can mean during economical frustrations especially. I'd like to make a contribution to the boards for providing useful info and products but I am unable to locate a spot to make a donation. You should put something up on the main index page towards the bottom or the footer. Somewhere easily accessible with a donation link and clickable graphic for paypal, just a thought. I am sure there is others who are willing to put up a few dollars for a good forum.

It's a good idea Nick. Something simple and accessible to members whenever they feel the giving spirit is upon them.

I think donations are on a needed basis. I asked how to become a donating member and I believe I was told that when needed our assistance will be called upon.

You are correct Sir. When needed we will be asked. The site is self supporting and Cap is very proud of this fact. This is why I purchase from sponsors as much as possible. If you want to help financially, get involved with the raffles and buy from site sponsors.

I've used alot of the sponsors to get mods and whatnot, but I still believe there should be an option available for anyone at anytime to send a few dollars, or more. That way if funds are needed they are available and waiting there already. Plus smaller portions of the accumulated donations can go towards mods that improve the boards, or free things like .org stickers and t-shirts for members if the donations come in heavily, i've seen boards raise huge amounts of money to end up getting put back into its members to help the place grow which will result in more sponsor purchasing overall.

I've been on this board for 4 days and I'm already looking to donate. I've been on another board for 3 years and haven't wanted to give them anything.

I guess I'll have to think of something that Busa/BKing owners can't live without, build it and become a site sponser. Then I'll be a "Donating Member"

you gotta be pretty on top of things around here to be a "donating" member.. only one time since i have been here have you been able to contribute.. (think it was open for about 30 days or so?)

I think if you want to help out, go to Bike-Shirts.com and get some shirts.. I can vouch for the shirts... they are all like 11+ ounce shirts (heavy)

Guess he is still busy with the last batch of shirts... I may regret giving the things away when I get them...

James hit the nail on the head. Best way to support hayabusa.org is to take part in the raffles (cool one going on now for one of a kind org banners) and buy from the vendors who support the site, and let the vendors know why you are buying from them.
