Default The Classifieds---infinite software loop?
If I navigate to the Classifieds and any sub directory (i.e. Parts and Mods) the default sort value is set to "most views". It seems to me this would set up an infinite loop whereby the most views would always be the same item because it is being viewed first each time.

If the default sort value was "most recent" then items recently added would be listed first. To me this makes sense and would make the Classifieds that much easier to navigate.

Possibly the most viewed is most clicked on to get details about the product. I see your point and in a geeky sort of way . Possibly a space-time contiunnm issues? Yes I am a geek.

Maybe...but I'm thinking it's more like turning to page 1 every time you open a book. Then page 1 will always have the most views. If you go to Parts and Mods that first advertisement has been the most viewed since 2008.The default sort option would probably be better as "Most Recent".

Most recent is on the top of the page, if you look closely you will see that the most viewed on the main page are not part of the calculation. Two of the most viewed have changed in recent days...

I understand your logic but the calculation isn't correct.
