I'm glad to see people are supporting my "fanboyish" rant on BMW. I just find it disgusting when people are so "pro brand name" that they can't call it like it is. To say BMW is a long list of terrible bikes is just childish.
To stay on topic; Why would it matter what the guy looks like on...
The truth is that you are being totally opinionated and blind. I don't want to buy a BMW, but I appreciate the legend. BMW's ideas and drive will produce a better 3rd generation Hayabusa. Does that at least do something for you?
They build the best sportbike 1st try and you shrug and go...
weird. Everyone who has actually owned any era or type of BMW motorcycle has gone on about how it's the "best." They are different also, they have innovated more on their own bike than others. The aprilia is amazing I'll agree.
I think you are just being too sour about BMW and you need...
The areas they moderate with these techniques are the populated ones. No matter how many cameras and helicopters the government buys they still won't be at your secluded back road....until nano-technology becomes cheap and easy.
Let me explain, the horn is right there anyway and I figure you might as well use it. Also, I'm rehearsing for an emergency that will be featured on the show doomsday preppers.
The 14R also feels a little cheaper. The side fairings seem brittle where as the busa is a solid machine.
The moral of the story is; Imagine what the GenIII Busa will be.
Thanks for the response/link. I've seen some reviews of cheap and expensive suits. I guess what I'm asking for is someone who has worn both to say, "Wow, this $600 1 piece feels like garbage compared to my $2k suit."
People who are selling the cheap ones say, "this is a great suit!" Ya...
I was wondering what the difference was on the cheap 1 piece suits versus the expensive ones.
Like, say you put on a $600 Alpine suit and then try on a $2,000 race replica....what would be the first 3 things you'd notice?
Thanks for any opinions!
I think it's supposed to be a joke. You can't test an engine that was broken in one way with the other way. Sure you can take identical engines and run them through tests but there are always variables.
Quality oil filters would be way more important that guessing what's going on.

I was just reading about the 12R on wiki.
In 2000 Japan and Europe were talking about the 300kmh limit for production bikes. For fear of a ban Japan was starting to put limiters on blah blah blah.
On that wiki page though it says the 12R was 4mph short of getting the title from the Busa...
I had a check up every few months for the year after the surgery. I'm sure I have a lot of scar tissue in my eye because my vision was bad. It's 20/20 now though and I'm happy with it mostly.
The doctor tried to convince me I needed the tear duct plugs but I said hell no. I'll gladly use...
I'm curious if anyone here has dry eyes and what they do about it with their helmet.
I had Lasik eye surgery about 4 years ago and my eyes require eyedrops every day. It's not painful but it can make my vision blurry if they get dry.
The new Arai Corsair V helmets have the temple air...
