I am late to Joe's gig, but for over a year now I am totally hooked on listening to Joe on my drives. I think he has the most interesting people on the show, crossing in to such varied subjects. I am forever jotting down things he/his guests say so I can read up more on them. Any fans here?

The VW Bug was the very first car I learned to drive around age 10...I think my Dad's was a '71-'72 Beetle. I used to want a yellow convertible, like that was my dream car as a teen. I don't like any of the new ones at all - the originals are the only ones that ever appealed to me for whatever...

I just wish I could find photos of the interior that matches what he saw, if for no other reason than to know someone in a tiny town actually owns this vehicle ;) Like someone else pointed out though, no stretch that the guy added them, or someone in his family did at some point...

Agreed - wish I'd seen it myself, and my son admitted had he known what was on the inner panel, he would have asked to sit in it just to really get a good look. I have personal experiences with this subject and your neighbor is correct. I have two people very close to me, one just lives his life like we all do, work, hobbies, time with family and friends...he was even employed in a former life by Pride in NYC and I suspect he finally left that job to...

Yes we do! I think about the gang here often...still have my Busa, still riding. Caesar is 21 years old...can't believe it!
