I was in your position 9.5 years ago with a brand new Busa. The best advise given to me was:
1. It is a Sport Touring bike. Stick to the touring part as long as possible. Save the sport for later.
2. Respect it or it will disrespect your life.
3. Pay attention to everything and predict...
I have lived in Germany for 20+ years and have never seen a road like that. It actually looks like something from Turkey. Multiple lanes, low traffic in between cities, and smooth highways are what I saw in Turkey during my visits.
That really wouldn't be for me. There are too many people that can't remember to turn the light on when driving a car. Those light need to stay on all of the time.

Rode her to work for last three days. It's been hot here in Germany, but it's really nice to take a 5 minute run at 100+mph on the autobahn twice a day.
