Hey Mich welcome, I'm 61 years old and love riding my Busa also. I also feel the stock brakes are fine. I do have braided lines. I pray I'm still able to ride into my 70's. I have Heli bars and spacer, lower pegs, MRI windshield, heated grips, and race tech fork springs. Its comfortable to me.

Thanks Ham. I saw that the sockets had to be modified for the 1157 switchback set up, but I don't remember reading that the sockets had to be changed out for the 1156 bulbs.

I Ordered the the 1156 LED turn signal bulbs and the light sockets on my Gen 2 is different, the 1156's will not fit unless I change out the bulb holders. So to let all know before ordering the 1156 bulbs they do not work on a Gen 2.

I have the 1 inch risers and Heli-bars on a Gen II and the front brake master touches at full lock only. never while riding. I did file off some of the master cylinder so now it barely touches.

Keep us posted on how things work out. I'm sure we can get together and donate some much needed parts or money to help you out once you know something more about the bike. Get well.

Does your place have a pool, and grill?

Are we talking about after flashing the ECU, because to the best of my knowledge all the big HP bikes are limited to 187mph from the factory. So No stock bike can go 200mph.
