Already have some money invested in the head but to find someone in South Africa to do the repair is almost non existent.

I have been having issues with water being pushed out the expansion bottle, tried new radiator, water pump cap. So pulled motor, removed head and had combustion chambers clean and found cracks between valve seats. Could this be causing the water to be pushed out of expansion bottle and if so...

Well R1 is my poor mans BST rims, its what I can afford. Just struggling to find Gen2 fork in South Africa that are not damaged, but found a set of BPF, so am curious to see if they would work.

Has anyone tried to fit the new Gixxer Big piston forks to a Busa yet? Can get a set but want to run R1 rims, so torn between Gen2 busa forks and BPF from 1000

Need some advice, currently looking at building a track / LSR bike. Will mainly be for doing 1/4 mile drags, 1/2 mile and 1 mile LSR runs. Am in 2 minds if I should do a cut rail or non cut rail. More or less understand the benefits of cut rail with the down side of not being able to put frame...

You could try World's Best Locking Fasteners & Locking Nuts and Bolts STAGE 8 fasteners or Percys Vibe-Lock Header bolts for those bolts that keep working themselves loose.

Try Bill Deshong from Porttech, does great work, reasonably priced and a real stand up guy.

That's what I have been doing, decided to buy a new thermostat, new 1,6 bar cap from Schnitz racing and replacing my radiator with new one due to all the road rash I have, then fit a GSXR1000 right side fan and radiator guard to protect new radiator.

Jelly I think fuel prices soaring has a lot to do with it. Plus the marketing on TV of bikes is lacking, especially in South Africa. I love the Suzuki 1k but prices here don't justify the bike as for a few k more you can get a Busa. Just hope Suzuki get their act together and start producing...
