I like the Corbin look, but they don't hold a laptop or helmet, don't allow you to use helmet hook under seat and are just TOOO Expensive. I am planning on going with a Givi.

This was a very helpful post. I like the play by play from up North. I've contemplated doing this on my 05LE which I have pretty much "blacked out". Now I am sold and plan to start the project before the snow is gone. I'll post pics when done.

I have 05 LE and this is another MOD I would like to do. But I hadn't thought of it. It looks great. To go with the nice stealth look I like for my LE, I powdercoated nearly everything that wasn't black. The powder coated almost ceramic coated my stock cans, but wasn't sure what the heat would do.

Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen is great. It takes a lot of wind off you and if you are over 6' tall, you can see the top of the gauges.

Does the TRE affect MPG in normal driving conditions?

This is a great site. I am a new member also. I used to have a Ninja in the early 90's. The busa is a completely different animal and I have only been able to ride on the sandy wet ND roads of spring.
