I have an 01 and the short answer is no.
But: You can fit the 02-07 32-bit ECU and rotor then flash away to your heart's content.
It is a direct plug-in to the existing wiring harness. I did my 01 and the basic flashing I've done works fine.
My Australian-delivered K1 runs the stock wiring harness and a 2001-specific PC 3 with an 02-07 32-bit ecu and matching rotor.
It was completely plug and play.

Yes. That is what I have in my K1.
But because I can't leave well enough alone, I'm fitting a PCV from something else entirely. It plugs into the injectors and just needs adapting at the TPS. A mate is making an adaptor for me at the moment. That's what you do when you pick up a PCV for $100.

I have experience with two different Phil Tainton built and tuned bikes. One was a 1640cc GSX1400 and the other a Bandit with Yoshi cams and a Yoshi slip-on. Both were very well tuned and seemed to make the claimed power.
He has just tuned a Bandit that I know...
