Pehaps connect a voltmeter to the same feed and then with the Detector connected duplicate the problem if there is a dip in the voltage as the detector reboots then the problem is prior to your connection if no dip then it is either the plug or detector

Each Busa can be slightly different, there is not one correct answer for the question,
set it where you think then test it with a GPS
you should be able to find a happy medium
it will never be perfect at all speeds as the Busa speedo error is not linear but it will be fairly close.
Quite right 9ct is probably the most common as it is not as soft as the other grades and does not wear out so quick, so it is perfect for items that are worn every day
9ct, 18ct, 24ct are the standard alloys of gold in Australia

It's probably being soaked up by all the crud that collects behind the cover, if you remove the cover you will be amazed how much dirt, dust and greasy muck has collected

on the right side between the tank and frame slip the philips and using the torch guide the tip into the adjuster ...... easy as that!!
