sorry it took me so long to reply but, lost this post in never never land. 1,2,3, gear is much smoother, 1st pulls to hard (almost) 2nd is about the same without the surging.

my serial # is 1118. problems are noisy cam chain, cut out high rpm only (sofar), couple of times would not start when hot motor and hot air temp, on my 2nd chain and sprockets (old one had two links out at about 4000?..........i now have about 6500 miles if anyone wants they can e-mail me...
