you should read what the guys at labusas.org(the ZX12 board) are saying about their bikes...numerous guys are saying they are going 200-215 mph daily...Busa's are ugly pieces of crap, stock ZX 12's killing Busa's in the quarter mile...etc.....
I couldn't take more than a few posts...I started...
this is what's left: Calipers(2)front(1)rear WITH hoses AND front and rear masters...$250 ($200 without the(3)master cylinders.)
Seats $100 both or $50ea.
Swingarm bare $200 (with shock $300).
Front upside down forks with trees,steering damper, and axle $900
Clipons with grips/barends $150 both...
Can NOS be installed on a stock(pipe, airbox, etc.) 'Busa without damage to the motor? Are the Busa pistons forged?
Is there a company(NOS, Compuserve, etc.) that makes a kit for the stock 'Busa?
IS THERE A SITE THAT I CAN STUDY THIS MORE?
SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT....SAY I HAVE A BLACK/SILVER BUSA...IF I TOOK THE SILVER STICKER OFF I WOULD HAVE AN ALL BLACK BUSA....IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE SAYING? ARE YOU SURE IT'S PAINTED BLACK UNDER THAT SILVER(IN MY CASE)
