For touring tires I like Avon XM 3D. They handle well in curves and all weather. Not the stickiest but get about 7000 miles out of a set.

Like Kiwi Rider said, there are a lot of little mistakes during installation that can cause fork seals to leak. There are also bikes that just don't like fork seals. I have a CRF450R that hates fork seals. I can't explain it, no matter what I do I can't keep them from leaking.

I would say if it fits an 08 it will fit your 2010. No differences in sub frames that I have ever heard of. I have bought alot of parts that only listed 08 and they fit my 2012 just fine.

I dont know if the width and diameter are the same between gen 1 and 2. I believe they are but I am sure many people here can confirm if that is true or not.

Could he be talking about where the bolt runs through the frame and swingarm?
