2013 busa wearing the left side of the front tire.

With my gen1 I would get 6500 miles from my battlax's and they would wear fairly even. This has happened within the last few hundred miles. I normally check it everyday that I ride it and haven't noticed anything until this week. It's flat from 1/8" from the left sidewall to about 3/8" from the...

2013 busa wearing the left side of the front tire.

I noticed a couple of days ago that my 2013 is wearing the left half of the front tire. Anyone ever seen this and know what causes it? I checked the bearings to see of maybe it has play but doesn't, it also goes straight as an arrow even if you take your hands off the bars.

Disappointed in Top Speed of My 2013 busa

Little things such as the back of your jacket flapping in the wind, air getting into your sleeves or collar, your pant legs flapping, or the lower rear fairing flapping can cause you to slow down. In theory the mirrors should be worth about 5-6 hp worth of drag at 200mph. I've been 218 now with...

Cheap way to move Busa from Nc to Ca

Lol...... I'm not sweating it too bad. I've been out there for a while before. Have a house between Santa Barbara and Graviota and had my 2013 mustang with pro charger there and only problem I ever had was when I did a rolling burnout in town. 795.00 later they don't even care :-) I got out back...

Cheap way to move Busa from Nc to Ca

Guess I'm gonna put it on u-ship. Looking like about 600.00-700 maybe:-( just don't see how it can be that much to send a bike across country

Cheap way to move Busa from Nc to Ca

Not moving perminately, going for work and will be out there less than a year. Not planning on registering it in ca. or getting a ca license. Did read some stupid rule that if you bike is manufactured after xx/2013 you have to leave the stock exhaust in it. Not sure if that'll still apply since...

Cheap way to move Busa from Nc to Ca

2700 miles one way. I've driven it 6 times in a car, takes me two full days of driving(44hrs total) and I'd be totally beat for two or three days thereafter. I'm not sure if I'd really be game to ride the busa that far in one shot. I figure it would probably take me 4 days of good riding which...

Cheap way to move Busa from Nc to Ca

Was wondering if anyone has a cheap alternative to transport a busa from Nc to Santa Barbara Ca? I've got a couple of quotes that just really seemed crazy(700.00-900.00) but didn't know if anyone here at the org may know of a cheaper way. I'll be heading out there within the next week and a half

Top speed in each gear on a busa?

Unrestricted/flashed ecu. stock gen 2 with 18/40 gearing, no mirrors, and pro pilot will run 209 at 11,000 rpm. with the stock cans. Same setup with cans removed will go 213 at 11,000?? My 6th gear rev limit is set to 11,300 and I haven't bumped it yet, so there is still more. I'm guessing that...

Just picked up my 2013 ABS:)

Ditch the abs...... You'll lose about 5-6 lbs and gain more feedback through the lever. It'll also stop better!! Mine stops better with one front brembo caliper and rotor and no abs than it did with the abs and both rotors/calipers

PC Autotune installation w/ 2011 and full Akrapovic

Just because the plug "looks" ok, doesn't mean that it's not lean. Unless you're burning leaded fuel, old school plug reading is a thing of the past, unleaded fuels today produce carbon which will in turn "soot" up a plug which will "by eye" look fine and actually be lean. Just my $.02 :-)

Report your GEN II Busa Issues here.

Appx. 38-40#. The battlax was pretty hard and when I extended my bike it just made it super easy to spin. I've got single black streaks everywhere from it :-). The Shinko was just the total opposite, it's super soft and don't even need to spin it to wear it out :-( not a good everyday tire IMO...

Report your GEN II Busa Issues here.

I'm at 1650 miles now, I went through through the center of the stock tire in about 1200-1250 miles. I decided to put a 200 size shinko hookup on it. The Shinko is a super sticky tire that fixed my traction problem in a straight line but definitely took away from the cornering. The Shinko only...

    Gen 2 valve spring question

Wanting to put a n2o system and a few other odds and ends on my '13le. Was wondering if its possible to change the valve springs with the motor still in the frame and what type of spring compressor I need to look for if its possible. I've got a air operated spring compressor but will have to...
