My Experience With OZ Wheels on a Gen II Hayabusa.

Yeah, I noticed on low speed cornering or turning the bike now feels like it wants to tip over. I'm use to it now, but the first couple times took me off guard.

    Insurance

Absolute cheapest insurance I found was Dairy Land Insurance. I'm 33, no tickets and Progressive wanted 1,800 a year, Geico wanted 2,400 a year. Dairy Land is 600 a year. But I believe you have to live in Wisconsin or it's surrounding states(don't quote me on that).

    R1 Wheel Swap Or?

Just put a set of OZ Piega wheels on mine, Motowheels has them for 2K. Stock rear wheel weighed on my scale 17.8 pounds, and the OZ rear was 14.9 pounds. Those were both rotor less and sprocket carrier less. The front wheel was 1.9 pounds lighter. My scale is probably off, but I weighed them...

My Experience With OZ Wheels on a Gen II Hayabusa.

I know this is a zombie thread, but didn't want to start a new one. Just got these on my bike, and like others have said, beautiful wheels, lighter weight, accelerates quicker, turns easier, shifting at cruise speed is smoother.20160501_122425 by Lunchy posted May 2, 2016 at 7:31 AM

    Need Wheel Help.

I'm a big stupid dumb stupid idiot. The 1/8 gap I was seeing became very apparent when I took it back off. The "gap" I was seeing was just the shoulder on the axle sleeve. But, still don't really know what happened. I put the tire on the wheel in the same direction, yet going to mount it...

    Need Wheel Help.

So I swithced the direction arrow to rotate backwards, now the spacer is on the throttle side (only side it will fit. But still an 1/8" gap on the clutch side. I took it for a quick drive, I can't tell if it just turns in easier or if the wheel is moving back and forth. Any help would be...

    Need Wheel Help.

Bought OZ Piega Gen2 Hayabusa wheels. The direction arrow points forward, but the spacer slot is on clutch side. With the spacer, there is still 1/8 of an inch of play. Being my first wheel swap, is that normal? Motowheels didn't say I needed further spacers. Thanks for any help.

    Who is doing what maintenance/upgrades?

You got a close up picture of those CF mirrors by chance? Been sitting on the fence about these.

Carbon Fiber Resin Infusion Parts In The Making

I'd be all over those frame covers (Gen2) if they went up behind the fairing.

What Helmet Do You Use Most?

Did some, let's say, "faster than speed limit" riding yesterday with my new Icon helmet. There is almost no wind noise compared to my old Gmax, and a lot less head shake. I also put on a Zero Gravity DB too, but I wasn't tucking. (First real ride with new helmet)
