Just got done with a 700 mile round trip. 5.5 hours straight one way only stopping for gas. She's running strong!

Alrighty, after waiting months for my head gasket. It arrived and the bike came together shortly after! Took her for a ride around the block and down the street. She is running good! I'll post anything if she acts up. Thank you all for the input and advice!

Clutch pushrod oil seal & breaking open the engine

Well geez. Got a new one for y'all. Had my piston heads all lined up nice and neat in a box. It seems someone tipped the box and my piston heads are now mixed up. Mostly my fault for not individually storing them or marking them. Just how crucial is it that each head makes it back in the right...

You are a god amongst men. Checked my baggie and found the other half of the pin and then pulled the cap right off! If you were in VA I'd buy you some beer.

Here's both of mine... don't appear damaged or hollow. Forgot to take pics of the guide pins but I have 4 that are much larger than the broken hollow pin I posted previously.

Talking about the ones that fit in the notches? Pulled both shafts out, both pins are there and solid not hollow

I'm going to check all my roller bearings i guess. I wouldn't think they were hollow. I don't see any spots for a guide pin this small on either side. Other than it being sheered off i agree, just want to know where it came from

Anyone happen to know where this came from? Hollow small pin looking thing. Cant find it on the diagrams or where it would be from. Looks like it sheered off on one side. Found in the bottom of my pan when I broke it back open

My k&n air filter has about an inch of separation between the rubber top and the air box. Anyone run k&n filters? I would think the rubber cover of the filter should be flush. Maybe the guy I bought it from bought the wrong model?

Yep, good catch. Something I should have looked into a bit more after wondering which way they went. Took the diagram to heart and went with it. I'm glad you caught it! But it killed my heart to hear. Going to be breaking her open again..... hopefully it'll be a bit smoother after all the...

The thrust bearings? On the diagram they show the slits facing in?

Alright! Engine is in the bike.... now for hooking it up. Problem 1, my buddy pulled the engine coolant temp sensor wires out of the plastic clip. I see blue and orange.... which one is on top?
