Good thing is that you can get out there and not worry about cars or police. Most tracks have a good runoff area if you freak in the corner. Just take your time and you will have a great time. Nice to get out there at around 5 in the morning and get setup for the day.
Trackdays are certainly addicting. My 14K helicopter ride kind of cured the addiction though. Careflight now has a membership program for 49 bucks a year. Join it. Was level 4 on my 750 and lowsided. Guy behind me ran over my head! Kinda sucked...
I've gone to the Eureka Springs Bash and the Bash at Deals Gap. Both were a great time and met a lot of nice folks. Eureka Springs is a nice ride. The ride from Hot Springs up to Eureka Springs is great too. We take highway 7 up.
I just seen an event on IronButt.com. There is an Iron Butt ride on may 21. If you register before 5/1, the certificate, a pin, and a license plate frame will be there when you finish.
Anyone interested? Should be a good ride.

Castrol Actevo 10w40 from CycleGear. Around 4 bucks a quart. Ran in my other Busa for 45 thousand miles. No problems. Still had stock clutches. Some may want to pay 7-9 bucks a quart. Not sure why. I just look at the reality of it. My bike has never overheated or even run hot. Don't figure I...
Did an oil change, mounted a new set of Pilot Road 2s, and aimed the HIDs. Not much more than a 30 minute ride, but glad to have those things done. Riding to Shreveport next weekend. I'm ready!
I have Yosh slip ons on mine and don't have a backfire. You should not need a PC unless you are running a full exhaust or have made other changes to fueling.
If they weren't having it on Haloween, I would be going. Went year before last and it was a good time. Got to take the kids to get some candy though so no rally for me. Have fun!
Yes. They are the R77 carbons. What a difference in the way it looks with them on it. Sounds nice. Not too loud. Reminds me of the sound of the Yosh RS3 on my old Busa.
300 Bucks was the asking price...I actually gave a little more. Guy is laid off and needed the money. I told him he could come pick up my stock pipes but he didn't need them because he wasn't going to have the bike long.
I found an excellent deal today and picked them up this evening. not bad at all!!

I'll post pics in the morning. I had to clean them up but they are like new now.
Yep. My buddy's bike does the same thing. I rode it a while back and in second and third it will slip at around 4K and then hit real hard. This is the second time this has started happening to him. The first time, he replaced the clutch and it seemed to go away. He is going to do his clutch...
