The 9.74 was a better run with a quicker 60 ft. For similar run's it takes off about .3 in the 1/4. I'm hitting it from 2nd gear on.

Sounds like fun. I don't think I have plans on Thursday. I'll have to come on the backup bike. The low beam went out on the busa. I think I did a few too many wheelies at the track.

Just stretching the bike will get you in nines. All the mods will help you go faster from there. You should aslo consider the Brock clutch mod. Mine is setup similar to what you propose and I've run 9.74 on motor and 9.61 with a 40 shot. I weigh about 210.

You're thinking of the ZX-13.5. It has two sets of flys. You would still be better off getting a TRE for that bike. It will open the secondaries at 3K, so it would still work ok on the street.

Hey Tervlover I've got riser bars on my 03 and they seem to help quite a bit. The came with the bike, so I can't compare to riding without them. I also own a '98 Blackbird. It's quite a nice bike as well. I've got a Corbin seat and Heli bars on it. I'd say it's a bit more comfy than the Busa...
