    Sturgis

I happened to be in the area last year on a bike trip while sturgis was going on so I popped in for a night to see what it was all about. Although the people are friendly enough, don't expect to see too many sport bikes there. The day I was there I think I saw 3 compared to 234837236729...

shifter circlip or c clip help needed

I had one of these fall off on me once. I don't remember the size, but I know I used a piece of paper to make an "imprint" of the end of the shaft and brought that in to the store to reference the size. Get one bigger and one smaller to be safe while you're there. They're cheap.

    Wet and black spark plug

I have the same problem on my '00. Same cylinder even. I am pretty convinced it's a sticking/dirty injector, and will be removing all 4 to take in for testing and cleaning. I'll report back what I find hopefully mid week.

    Stuck between gears.

I've also caught a false neutral between 5 and 6 once before. I think it was just caused by me being a little lazy on the shift. A good firm pull on the lever seems to take care of the issue

Why does my battery lose charge while I ride?

That is the correct setting. The meter needs to input a certain amount of voltage to forward bias the diodes in order to properly check them. This is the reason for the "diode" setting. That picture is the electrical symbol for diodes.

    Cooling Problems. Please Help!

The way I see it, you have three possibilities. Burning it, leaking it or it was never full to begin with. A leak should be easy enough to spot with that amount of loss. Bubbling in the reservoir while running, an exhaust smell in the bottle, a white or very clean looking spark plug would give...

I figured out how to get the mosquito out of my shop.

LOL I hope that was from your tire and not your exhaust

https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/general-bike-related-topics/156609-paper-clip-diagnostic-instructions.html Check to see what code it's throwing at you. That will get you started in the right direction.

Making a cluncking noise when coasting down hill.

I would start by cleaning and lubing the chain well. I had an issue somewhat similar to yours except mine would give a clunk clunk clunk sound when accelerating in low gears. Hoping it was a binding link, I gave my chain some love just today and it seems to have taken care of it. It was overdue...

    Rear Brake Res

I just changed my rear line and didn't find the stock one that bad to be honest.. I used a long screwdriver to remove the cap, then stuck a longer funnel down between the cowl and the frame. Worked ok :dunno:

    Recovered Seats

No adhesive needed. If you stretch it evenly, the vinyl will conform to the curves. There are no "concave" curves to worry about also, which helps. I will admit, my finger tips were a tad sore after I was done from stretching the fabric. 1 yard of material will do both seats. I had to order this...

    Recovered Seats

My seats were getting a little tired, so I was looking to freshen them up a bit. I looked into the aftermarket seats out there, but have never had too much of a problem on the factory seat, so I decided to recover what I had. There are lots of pre-made seat covers out there on ebay etc, but most...
