I'm looking to get a Saddlemen seat and I'm torn on which one to buy so I'm looking for some advice. I'm considering the GP-V1, Track CF, and the Track LS. Is there a major difference in comfort between these two? The LS and CF have deeper gel channels which I think will benefit my overweight...

I didn't like the stock seats at all. I had New Image Seats do this for me: Far more comfortable and the embroidery is cool too.

I did the Buell peg mod as well and I love it. It doesn't seem like much but it makes a big difference. Took me a few tries to get the shifter just right, but it's a really great mod.

Contact a professional engine shop. One that has a reputation for building race engines. You are going to be building something that is way beyond backyard mechanic level. There will be very few parts(if any) left from the stock engine when it's done.
