Make sure to keep in mind of the fork taper. If you go more that .75 inch, part of the lower clamp is not going to be gripping the fork. That's something I was not comfortable with so mine is down .75 in the front and 1 in the rear.

I have a 5.56 m4 that I built, and it spends about 2x amount of the shooting time with a CMMG .22lr conversion bolt in it. I don't care what anyone has to say, the .22lr cartridge is so much fun to shoot.

The number one thing that improved my carrying 100 percent is a good BELT. Believe me I didn't think it was that big of a deal, but a proper gun belt is the bees knees.

I used waze in the past. It is a very cool idea as I had a bunch of wazers around me. Watch out if you do not have unlimited data. Waze downloads maps as you enter new areas, I would hate to see it send you over your limit. I use tom tom for iPhone now and I love it.
