I've been googling for hours...there are bolts on the lower part of each side fairing that go through and bolt up to a bar that keeps them off the headers. Well one of the bolts came loose and the bar eventually vibrated enough that it came free from the other bolt and fell out. I cannot find...

Finally got it all back together and rode yesterday and today. Only issue is that I booked the cable release back up and then put the hump on before realising I fogot to install the bolts that go into the latch area and the two in front of that. So I went to pop the release and I could hear it...

IF anyone knows the answer to the following, please let me know: Seller finally replied to me 48 hours later (after I posted negative feedback...) stating that the rectifier was only supposed to fit my plug and not compatible with the mount. Doesn't say anything about this in the listing. But...

Went ahead and ordered one of the Ricks ones. Ebay seller is being a flake. Should be all back together and freshly painted next week.

It may be from a gen 2 but it's not slotted. I mean it's a solid inch or so off in bolt spacing. I sent them other ebay links to what the bracket and original rectifier look like and they still asked how I would like them to help me with the issue. It was NOT the Rick's one but I may order...

If it's not one thing, it's another. New rectifier finally arrived and it was listed as compatible with 2007 but not anywhere close to matching the bolt spacing on the triangular bracket. Waiting to hear back from the vendor. Bummer!

Popped in a new fuse and have all power back now. Going to go ahead and splice and replace a couple of the wires that took the brunt of the heat. Looks like I should be good to go now though!

Thanks guys. Was busy getting the decals off the fairings last night so I didn't get into the fuses till this morning. 30A was blown so i'm going to replace that this morning and see what happens. I did separate all the wires in the main harness from the area that burned and only a handful...

Ok so rear fairing is disconnected. Battery was charged. Key to accessory position and nothing at all. What should I be checking next? Fuses? ECU? Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!! Ordered some. Battery was still charging last night but was fully charged this morning so I'll give it a go after work. I guess that will determine if I need fuses and stator. On the fence about trying to massage out the dent/dimple or replacing the rear fairing. Now that I know...

Alright, looks like I didn't look close enough and assumed it was just the rectifier but I got the rear fairing completely off and it looks like it burned into the harness some too. I don't think it ate into any wires and the battery is charging so I'm going to give it a try if it charges...
